I can't seem to find a date for when the mandatory face coverings go into effect.

Some more info: what won't be re-opening right away:

The following business and operations are to remain closed per existing Stay at Home Orders unless a variance is granted or until related orders re amended or rescinded:

Schools
Din-in Restaurants and Bars
Personal Appearance and Beauty Businesses
Older Adult Day Care Services and Senior Centers
Adult Day Support or Vocational Habilitation Services in Group Settings
Entertainment, Recreation and Gyms

Since every single model this far has been completely wrong, let's stop talking models and talk real numbers. The state of Ohio has run an experiment in what it looks like when COVID-19 runs unchecked in a population

At "Marion Correctional Institution, which houses 2,500 prisoners in north central Ohio, many of them older with pre-existing health conditions. After testing 2,300 inmates for the coronavirus, they were shocked. Of the 2,028 who tested positive, close to 95% had no symptoms."

4 have died...

For those playing at home that is a .2% death rate... A real number based on a real population with limited migration.

We are staying home quaking in fear, destroying our economy for a disease with a .2% mortality rate which is 95-96% asymptomatic.

And since science is all about replicability:

"In four state prison systems — Arkansas, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia — 96% of 3,277 inmates who tested positive for the coronavirus were asymptomatic, according to interviews with officials and records reviewed by Reuters. That’s out of 4,693 tests that included results on symptoms."

So my mother in law is saying 12 inmate and 1 CO died at Marion? Just curious as to the real numbers?

I heard (Probably 2 weeks ago) a doctor say on national news that the tests to see if you already have had it get lots of false positives. And the tests if you have it now get lots of false negatives. I don’t think He gave the percentages the tests were off.

luckily, my company always has some N95 masks because of the work we do. boss (who is a royal prick, btw) tried to make me wear one. I refused and told him exactly what I think of him. he fired me for insubordination yesterday. so, we did some bow work, shot some arrows, and fished for a while. he begged me to come back to work today. I suppose I'll go since I'm the only one who knows how to run the pressure washer, but I'm demanding a raise, and I'm not wearing a mask outside in the rain while I'm spraying bleach and soap on a deck and washing it off. poor bastard is between a rock and a hard place trying to tell me what to do. he'll get over it. ;)
