Another of his kind stopped by to resuscitate and with no avail grabbed a nut and perched himself on the exact same limb and joined his buddy.

I just went out the front door to get the mail and 4 more grays went running everywhere not 20 yards from front porch. One scurried up the nearest tree that has a den 60 ft up and the other 3 ran all the way home to neighbors woods where they live.

hard for me to say, Ric. I have never boiled a squirrel in my entire life. Do you have a pressure cooker? Instapot?

I guess if had no other option, I would simmer until a skewer, toothpick or something goes into the thighs like it was soft butter. I don't see how boiling for 1 hour could do it since braising is 3 hours at 325*.
