OK, so it's time to make a decision whether we're gonna do this thing or not.
Like Jesse said earlier, I'd wander around beating brush and make breakfast, but I'm not seeing any interest.
Are we passing on the muzzy hunt this year?

Throwing this out there. If anyone wants to get together to do some drives in WNF in Washington County this weekend let me know. Looks like my son and I will be hunting both days. Would be interested on Saturday or Sunday morning as we are probably going to sit on stand in the afternoons.

I may hunt a piece of private fhats landlocked by WNF a other private ground on Saturday. If so, I'll message you. We want be far from you since we'll be out back of Bells Run.

Yes.

I'd say years like this where a critical mass has filled buck tags by muzzy season, it will be tough to make this happen. Years where the vast majority still have buck tags? Probably something that'll happen.

I honestly wonder if after a few years if they don't tweak the public land rules. It would be nice if they kept the 1 deer per year, but allow antlerless thru all deer seasons or perhaps allow it during the late muzzleloader. I don't care so much about late gun and late archery not being able to shoot a doe, but it would be nice if doe was in during the late muzzy season.

I pay $50ish for a late-season doe tag on public ground, especially if it was a limited "draw" and the monies went back into conservation and acquisition.

As a NR mine is already $77 so I would gladly pay $50. LOL.

I should add that I support the new public land rules, but if they need or want to lessen them up, my first vote would be to allow antlerless in the late muzzy season.
