Boarhead's Coyote and other critter's snaring.2015-2016

Good stuff, Brian! Even though we like catching the yotes, its nice to not see any tracks. Between me and the guy that traps the neighboring farm we've taken out 16 in the last 2 years.

Yea Chad they are fun to catch but i much prefer to not see the amount of tracks i used to.
Used to hear them howling all the time while bowhunting but haven't the last 2 yr's.

Took a nice hike today and did not see one yote track on the farm.
Went to the big farm where i still have 5 snares open and saw one set of tracks so followed them right to one of my snares.Woo Hoo another dead female yote.
Guess i will keep the other 4 open another week in case a male shows up.
Sure is a good feeling to be able to cover lots of ground and only see one set of tracks go right into a snare.

I used to get lots of pics but the last couple years i am lucky to get one or two all year.

Had one get out today,the ground was pretty soft in this area and he worked the stake out of the ground,damn!
He is running around with the snare and stake so hope he gets hung up somewhere.lol

Caught a really big beaver today.63 pounds and he was a little pissed off.
Was cool that Lisa rode along with me today and got to see it,i would say this is most likely the one that chewed out last week.
