Caught a nice male today he weighed 42 lbs.
Opened up a couple more snares so have 12 out now as it looks like we might have some cold weather and snow heading our way.
Also set a couple snares for beavers along the big creek as it looks like they are hanging out again.
Seems like they come and go so thought i would set a few in case they stick around.

There ya go Brian..... find a run they are using and hang the snare just on the waters edge so the bottom.of the loops on the water. Get yourself.some castor and put in on the bank in the run and you'll catch those bastards....

Thanks Zach i set a few on the trails and will set a couple runs after this weather gets through.
Seems like they come and go along the creek here so will just leave them set and hope they come by.
I have caught beaver before but never here at the farm.
First time snaring them though.

Yea i see ducks on it everyday.
And yes i have heard a snared beaver can get a little pissy.
Havnt seen any otters but they travel alot so you never know, would be cool catch though.

Woo Hoo!! I snared my#100th all time coyote today.A 39 lb male and i have had my Honor Connor wrist band with me all season long and dedicate this 100th yote to him as i know he was right there with me..This yote got to wear the band for awhile.lol
I will tell you i really never thought about 100 yotes till last yr as i really cant get over how many are out there.
That makes 48 yotes just this past yr in just under 4 months total.
If anything i have saved alot of wildlife from these killers especially the fawns in the spring.
I have snared a couple farms the last few yrs but 65 of the 100 yotes came off the family farm and this is the only farm i am doing right now.
Thanks alot to my TOO family for all the comments as it motivates me to keep after them.
Well now i guess we will start heading for 200,Might be awhile. LOL
