Good question. He doesn't have all the symptoms for that, so I dunno. He can still walk all over the place when he wants. Odd that most of this didn't progess to this until after he had his procedure done.
Vet just called & reaffirmed he doesn't have heartworms. I apparently forgot about that being mentioned the last time he was there. The reason for the phone call mainly, is that she does believe, like I have, that he has a tumor or some sort of cancer going on. So, thats that. Just gonna ride this wave out.
Wife has been on me off and on to get another dog. This one appears to be available. Any thoughts on breed? I have my thoughts but will wait to hear your opinions.
Looks very similar to one of our dogs. She is a pit bull/Rottweiler mix with some other breeds mixed in. My wife had one of those dna tests done and that’s the results that came back. Our other dog is a pit bull/bulldog mix.
Phil, given that it's a high energy dog, skinny waist, deep chest, long toes and if that dog had a cropped tail, I'd swear it was a Cur dog of some sort. definitely a mutt. looks like a winner, at any rate. Might have yourself a tree dog.
That's a mutt if I've ever seen one, and I mean that in the best way. I see all sorts of options including cur, pit, lab, shepard, and even rottweiler. Be curious to hear him bark and see what that says about him, literally. Bailey appears to be a purebred lab, but if you hear her bark, you know something ain't right Gunnar on the other hand, is an obvious mutt if you know your breeds.
He's a good looking dog and I'd say, a very loyal one.
Jamie's dogs came to mind when I saw the pics. Definitely plenty of Heinz 57 in there. The high energy and body shape made me think of Slick and Lefty. The pic rising in the cab of vehicle made me think of Lefty. Jamie has written enough about him that the attitude in that pic made me think of the older dog. (Which I think is Lefty.)
Told my wife if you could wear the dog out I suspect he would be an awesome dog. Doesn't look like a dog you could ignore for long periods without finding him tearing up the house or doing bullet runs. Lol
Well shit. My Budzy is gone. He walked into another room & went down. I'm fortunate that he didn't suffer any greater. It'll be a hollow feeling for sure. RIP Sully . On another note, he died in the same spot my GSP did. Go figure.....
