I know never say never. If we do it again I'm going to get one wait a couple years and get another. That way when one goes you still have one to help get through it.

If you catch the light just right, the cracks on my phone’s camera cover make for a sun ray filter. 
Boy, its been a bit since this thread has been updated.
Anyway, about a week ago, we put our two eldest toy dogs
to rest. Both were just over 18 years old and lived exceptional life since birth.

Today, due to the higher temps, they'll get a bit more of my attention.
They love
playtime in the creeks around here, no doubt!

Dang! 18 years?! I wish shepherds lived that long! It doesn't help the pain but that's a heck of a run! Sorry for your losses man. Both within a very short period was probably best for those two best friends. It would have been real hard on the other one.

Brought home our new pup today. My male went and broke my heart in April when he passed at 7.5 years old. New guy is a German Shepherd. I couldn't do a Mal again!!
I took this pic right before he and my wife went and passed out on the dog bed. They both had a big day today!
