That shouldn't set you back much. He wouldn't know what he's missing if you got him a cheap one anyway. lmao
Wait, are we talking hookers or strings??? I'm so confused...

Dude, you are shooting a brand new bow with all new accessories, a $200 release that is from the future and you refuse to use a peep...pathetic...it will make you more accurate, believe it or not, and eliminate another variable when that big buck finally decides to pass by your stand. LOL
ernie needs one that will bite his ear lobes and pull his short hairslmaoickle:
Man it took me 22+ years to go from fingers and aluminums to shooting a release and carbons...give a guy a break GEEESH lmao
You can't go 90% futuristic, and 10% throwback, it just don't work that way. It's either all or nothing! And that applies to hookers and peeps! LMAO
I thought peeps went with hookers...oh that's pimps never mind lol.
I will trust you guys but if it comes back to haunt me and It turns and makes me miss my big buck I'm going to cuss a little bit lol.

Not sure where the concern comes from a peep site...
The only drawback of a peep I've ever noticed is shooting in low light. It is tougher to pick up the target. My newer peep is pretty good, but I had drill out my older one to widen it and let more light in.
However, the pros outweigh the cons. Better accuracy is the highest pro.

90% futuristic, and 10% throwback is like a smoking hot hooker with 70s bush.. lmao

Agreed, low light conditions are a downfall. I've had mine turn a few times on me, luckily just when attempting to draw on doe, but that was my own fault for not checking it ahead of time.
If you don't do it already, try shooting with both eyes open. This will help tremendously during low light conditions.
