How many fish did you catch in the state tournament? Hmm i think it was very few. Imagine if you would have caught as many as me...maybe we would have been 1st. Hahahaha

I'm saving it for this year man..plus that chick from Warren was sexy..she had me distracted.

So explain these crank baits to me...are these for top water or deep? I want to learn how to fish other than putting a worm and a bobber on a line

I'm no expert on cranks, but theres top water ones..jerk baits and deep ones which are regular crank baits. They make them to dive to specific distances, some are 4' some are 6' and so on..and i think there's ones that ride the bottom. It also can depend on how fast you reel. but again I'm no pro so hopefully someone else can elaborate. I'm personally not a big fan of cranks, i like to use powerbait/zoom ribbon tails warms and tube baits. And in the late summer..top waters such as poppers, buzz baits, and rage tails..mmmm

One thing I always do with a top water. When it hits the water I let the ripples get at least past the nearest piece of cover or 10' away before anything. Twitch once then dead stop....then the above....pop, pop, still.....pop, pop, pop, still, then mix it up.

That's usually my strategy as well... Unless the bite is really hot. Sometimes they're so aggressive that they're smacking the bait as soon as it hits the water. Days like that, I'm twitching it right away.

I do the same thing, has a lm miss his aim once and knocked the popper onto the bank
