Food, what are you eating?

Rather unusual version of meatloaf. Ground venison, ground pork, ground brisket (since I could not procure ground veal), Black Forest ham, genoa salami, and yes those are carrots. Heavy on the fresh thyme, too. Mashed roasted cauliflower on the side. Really good recipe from Chef Jean-Pierre.

I would like a recipe of that pickle if you get a chance. Please

What did you think of the pulled pork?
I think there is no substitute for low and slow. As good as I have made.

My journey as a backyard bbq enthusiast has taught me that less is more. Getting cute with mops, injections, spritzes, etc. is a thing of the past for me. Simple rubs, simple cooking plans and patience makes great barbecue. Pellet grill my new favorite cooking apparatus. Simple and easy.

If wondering...

Cheese, smoked hot pepper from Amish
Summer sausage, venison from home
Pickles, fermented from home

As this diet has gained more traction I guess I would consider it the "dirty carnivore" diet. I know all this salt helps me feel better on hot days like today. Way better than eating the carbs that make me want to take a nap.

Any suggestions for a daily pill? My diet is pretty good other than the occasional food binge, chocolate sweet tooth or a weekend donut now and then. I know I completely feel whatever I put in my body. Feeling hung over as hell if I eat a lot desserts, crap food or to much beef fat like brisket fat. I know I'm wearing myself out with my work load and not eating enough at the moment. I'm down to about my
16-17 yr old weight 167 this am but with way more muscle. I'm struggling with aging knowing when to stop physically doing something. Some days I'll work extra hard or my normal and feel like I've been beaten with a bat the next day. Last night I busted out mudding drywall until 1:30am (so we can paint today) and was convinced I wasn't going to be able to move much today but I feel like a rock star right now. If I'm not active and sit a day I feel almost as sore as busting it. I can never tell what triggers soreness. I think it's different muscles being used as I'm doing nearly every trade right now. Aging is a strange process. I don't drink alcohol, cutting it out almost cured back pain. I don't take anything except extra THC or strong sativa hit if I need to block alittle pain and bust something out. Maybe fish oil for a joints or something else? Start a daily stretching routine?
