I gave up hunting mornings for a good 24 hours. I cant help myself.

Took it easy on the hunting this werkend. Afternoon sit today will kick off snother string of hunts until turkey day. We'll see what happens

Once that new SS shows up it'll give me a good burst.

The one thing im not lacking this year is confidence. Ive yet to get 'upset' over anytime spent in the woods. It is what it is, and im really enjoying it.

Tonighy i had butter flys in my stomach as soon as i got on stand. Had a really good feeling about things while the wind was howling. It turned out to be a great/entertaining hunt.

I cant wait to shimmy my ass up the tree tomorrow. Think im going to get settled in a good hour before sunrise

I just saw three antlerless running across the field behind my house. Another 80 miles and they'll be there, Gordo. Be patient!

Man! Tough november for me(wahhhhh, wahhhhh). Kind of expected when i set the bar about as high as it could be set. Been grinding hard since the end of october. Cant believe its November 21st.

Its been almost two weeks since my only encounter of the year with the buck thats been ruling my life since october 20th. I still know he's alive and well thanks to trail cams. He's just not cooperating.

I feel like ive been sloppy the last 7-10 days. I was hoping he'd get lackadaisical and id get lucky. Despite plenty of hours/effort i havent caught a lucky break.

Lookin at the big picture i have to get back on my 'A' game and hunt smarter. Still got alot of season left.

Just a post to say where my head is at. Wahhhhhh, Wahhhhhhh. lol.

And No, im not giving up.

Think im going to have to get me one of those heater body suits for post gun season hunting. Seems like that is the ticket to keepin toasty?

Still hunting every day, but my thinking is starting to gear towards nasty weather hunting.

I hope old dude survives the orange army.

I'll also be doing s full trail cam deployment as soon as gun week is over. I havent had time to keep up on cam maintenance at all my places .
The wheels are a turning as where about to turn the page to the second half of the season! Should be a blast
