that is beyond ridiculous. bordering on being insulting at this point. this is just one more reason that I love traditional archery. it has always been, apparently always will be, the least expensive shooting sport in the world. and by a friggin' mile now. damn glad I have a very comfortable supply of the CCI standard velocity .22's that I shoot and hunt with.
I think they forgot a zero on number of rounds....I remember getting a brick for that price. Ah the good ol days

Pretty sad...I’ve got at least two boxes of these...plus one sheet of plywood in the garage...would cost me over $100 if I went out and bought both today.
I’ve got enough too last me a while. Bought back before Obama took office. Paid somewhere around $9 a box. Used too shoo my .22 mag on a regular basis…. Not anymore….

I was in the Boardman Fin today. For a price you could get a box (limit 1)of most common calibers. 9mm ~ 70 cents/round, .223 $1/round, .22lr .20 cents/round. .308 $1.50/round.
Picked up some ammo at the Rossford Fin a few weeks ago. It was limit of 1 box but you could get 1 box of different calibers at the same time. Wife was with me so I ended up with 2 boxes of each caliber lol.
You hear about people having pallets of ammo they have been stock piling for years. At WHAT point does a person say "you know, I'll never shoot all of this. . . Maybe I should sell it while it's at the top?" I'm not that guy, but it would be tempting if you had a surplus.
You can only store ammo for so long before the powder starts losing it's punch. Had an old gunsmith my dad knew that gave me several boxes of 12ga 7-1/2 to get rid of. Ever pull the trigger and hear the shot go off and see every pellet as it flies out the end of the barrel? I can only imagine the squib loads on rifles.

Trade in prices suck too... I was thinking about trading my s&w m&p 2.0c for a walther PDP... guy said he'd give me $250. When I told him I have the box, all 4 backstraps, 2 15 rd mags, 2 17 rd mags with the grip extensions and a blackhawk grip break holster, he said he'd give me an extra $25... fuck that

I got an email from Ammo Depot yesterday advertising a price drop in cases of 556. Now at $0.70/rd. I'm still going to wait until it's under 60, but it is nice to see it trending down and it's in stock.
