I know something

Sorry to hear it Dante. Man that just sucks. Wish I was available this weekend. Hank needs some practice. If nothing else, I would have felt better for trying to help you out. Sorry about the window. Double sucky!

wouldnt that be the shits . get cought smashing just a window . and at the end you are charged with stealing a bow and stand and taking an envelope out of the glove box with a couple thousand bucks in it . and all you did was break a window ..lol

lmao that would suck. I bet you get a confession out of the poor fugger real quick though. " No officer, I only broke the window. I didn't do any of that other stuff, honest. " lmao

Yeah ole' Dante was on the phone telling the sherrifs dept. about it and I was doing my best charades (they took your bow man, they took your bow...wink, wink.)

I am telling you that window was busted out. The window pieces outside the car were from the top of the window when Dante's ex, male, lover hit it low with a spark plug mad that he was in the woods with another bearded dude.

mad that he was in the woods with another bearded dude.

correction, 2 bearded dudes.

insurance deductable - $500. glass from a local boneyard $50. no brainer guess what i'll be doing this weekend.

Oh and it keeps getting better. I have been noticing a "clicking" sound from the front end. Busted CV joint. unfortunately I dont have the tools to fix that one. Man I cant wait till spring when I can get a new vehicle. tired of pouring money into this old piece o chit.

Autozone lets you borrow the CV "pickle forks" ...is that the tool you need? Pretty sure my pops has one too...one of those things you only need to use once or twice.

$500???? Isn't that the same as a windshield? Most times windshields are almost 100% covered. Maybe a $25 copay or something.

CV joints are not that bad Dante. I need to do them on my Jeep Grand Cherokee right now but haven't had the time. 165k miles and I use it like it is a quad or Polaris Ranger or something. I really need to get it fixed or I will be trying to drive me dually in places I shouldn't be when I have the Jeep sitting here taking up space.

Windshields normally arent counted to a deductible but thats only if you have full coverage - He "old piece of chit" so Im assuming he doesnt carry full coverage lol

Man that sucks to hear Dante, but it happens. Sounds like you guys gave it a huge effort, which is all you can do. Sorry to hear about the window as well

Actually i do carry full coverage on all our vehicles. We have to carry it on my wifes car because it is still owned by the bank. it dosent cost much more to go ahead and carry it on my jeep as well.

Ended up replacing the whole axle. cost a grand total of $165. picked up a new window this morning for $50. After i put the new win dow in i changed the oil and because beentown made fun of it, i took it to the carwash and vacuumed it out. It is still a vehicle specifically for work and hunting/fishing, but beener criticism was just to much to take.:smiley_crocodile:

Now you went and done it. Ya washed and cleaned it. NEVER a good idea after it has gotten use to being a workhorse gettin dirty. Did that with one of my cars once and it started to fall apart a few days later lol. Same thing happens everytime I put a full tank of gas in. Something always breaks lol. Hopefully it's just me and my luck lol.

All I said to the Officer was that it would be hard to find what broke the window inside of the car because of the stuff in it ;) You should see my beater/work truck. It actually has mold in it from about 2 weeks ago were I left the window down while it rained.

Man Dante, sorry you didn't find your buck! I felt your chances were good. Is there a possibility your totes might have pushed him during the night. Just a possibility! Sorry to hear about the vandalism too!

Bringing this one to the top!!!!!!

I know something. . . . I will give a vague hint: Cotty's boys are going to have a run for their money!
