Rained all day off and on here today. Gusting wind. My damn MS muscle spasms in my legs are keeping me up all night the last 4 days.

Took the little one out. Had a blast but didn’t see anything. At dark got snorted at on our way out by a doe which he thought was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Hoping to try tonight and tomorrow morning with the cold coming. Anyone else?

Yesterday evening saw two 8's (one dark rack, the other light) following a does through the plot. Eventually the dark rack chased her over the hill down toward my stand (I was hunting the field edge). Not sure where the light rack went.

Neither were shooters, but solid bucks nonetheless.

I posted this in the rut forum too.
Gallia County. Sat last night and awesome activity. Had 3 different sets of 1.5-2.5 year old sparring, had a nice 2.5 eight pt make a huge scrape in front of me, all the younger bucks were curiously chasing does around. Failed to see any mature bucks. Must’ve seen14 different deer. It’s creeping up on us.

Finally am able to post pictures,saw 3 small bucks yesterday and some does.

Small buck working a scrape this morning and a few does.
Did pass on a descent 8 Friday morning.
Wont be long the big boys will be up and moving more,will try again this afternoon.

Pulled the card today, got some pictures of a small 6 point chasing some does around the plot. In a couple more days things should hopefully pick up. Good luck all!
