Anyone else think there are a lot of green leaves still on the trees? Usually by now I can see further into the woods. The deer are going to be in close before I can see them.

I just had. 150-160" perfect ten-pointer skirt my stand by about 60 yards. Trailing a doe. Probably the same one that was getting chased when I walked in this morning. There were 3 or 4 other small bucks bringing up the rear. Damn what rush!

Settled back in at 10:15. Hogsbacks dropping off from a bowl to my right. All sorts of thick shit in the bowl. Main holler running N/S in front of me. Sanctuary across the holler from me. Tons of tracks along the road. I probably have more daylight pics of mature bucks crossing left to right to go towards the bowl than anywhere else on the farm.

Wind has picked up again here. Haven't seen anything in the last hour and a half. Just ate my 2 sandwiches and sipped on some coffee. Recharged and refueled for another 3 hours or so.
