LIVE from the stand 2018-19

I'm going with the stand approach today. Waiting until first light to get in to my stand that's just off the cut corn in an inside corner. I'm close to a known doe bedding area. Midday, I'm going to go sit on the hill overlooking a shelf that's a great travel corridor. I'll spend the afternoon on the ridge in a funnel.

Sitting here in the truck trying to gameplan my clothing!

I’m back in the aam stand as yesterday. It is SO much quieter here today. It took me twice as long to walk back today with the crunchy leaves but I made it back here without any deer blowing or running off. Feels like a good day, good luck gentlemen. Shoot a big one and enjoy the beautiful morning.

My buddy and I made it out this morning! We waited until light to head in. Good thing we did because there was a nice 10 chasing doe in the field between our stands! We both made it in and he’s still chasing them around! Hoping to put something down this morning! Good luck everyone!

Might as well head for the truck right now... my son in the navy just called... haven't heard from him in weeks... they made port in Portugal last night. I usually get shitty when people call me while I'm in a tree, but I want going to ignore that call.
