I sat from 9:45-11:30 today. Saw a BB on stand and 2 does with a young buck on the way in. The wind was too strong for the tree I was in and I was between 2 dead ash trees. Terrible stand hang on my part. Back at it tomorrow.

Back at it this evening @my 'Western Stand'.

Apparently there was a mud slide over the last 24 hours cause this creek bank wasn't like that yesterday.

Now I have 3 more trees to clear out of the creek.

In fact, that's what I was doing this afternoon, cutting up trees along one of the creeks.

Earlier, I got down from my 'Eastern Stand' @10 after not seeing any deer for about an hour in a half.

So for this morning, I seen 6 deer total, 5 Does & 1 Buck, all by 8:30 am.

My morning started off well, I got 3/4 of the way to my stand before I figured out my quiver was in the truck. Love it when I get all lathered up before sitting in the stand. Good luck to the yutes hunting today

There was my once a year chance...

Seen 4 does and a shooter so far. He slipped in from downwind and was on high alert. Stopped him at 30 and he coasted to a stop 6" too far forward. Couldn't get the pin into the vitals. When I tried to stop him the second time, he wasn't having it. Beautiful 4 year old P&Y 8. Fugg...

Squirrels and blue jays are active by me. Seen about a dozen at a time earlier.

Same here, squirrels and birds. One of the neighbors shot at something about 7:30. One shot and then another about 15 seconds later.
