Found one! Credit to Giles for the arrow in the tree idea. Deer were coming to this spot daily but I put corn down strategically to get them in a certain spot because of how small the property is. Had a nice big tree for a backstop.

Good sized button buck and an 8 yard shot on the ground hiding under a swing set 30 yards behind thier house at the edge of the woods.The arrow was covered in blood but it didn’t show up with the flash in the dark.

Had a buck chasing a doe cutting across the street as I was leaving for work

Staying fairly dry in this 50* temperature & a steady downpour of a rain w/ a 11 mph NE wind.

Two back'TOO'back shots heard so far from the West, maybe a mile or two away @8:30.

I'm giving it another hour then I'll be climbing down to go get some breakfast.

This old man is starving this morning!

Had one at 65 yrds just as we were getting ready to head in. Good little boost of spirits.

I got settled in my regular stand about 9:25. Had a line of 7 go thru the thick stuff to my left around 80yrds, then a single on the same trail just a minute ago. Only takes one, play nice u commie bastards!

Nothing seen here this morning. Hearing shots in the distance, must be drive going on. Neither boy saw anything either, very nocturnal on camera.
Did find an awesome rub line while taking a long way around walking out.

Good deal, glad it worked out! At 8 yards, hard telling where it would’ve ended up otherwise

Oh yeah that arrow would've been gone. The arrow broke through a rib on both sides of the deer and the broadhead blades were totally buried in the tree. Just the threads that screw into the arrow were sticking out. Not sure if that was your idea or you heard it from somebody else but good thinkin!

It felt more like harvesting a deer than hunting but the freezer is full and it was a quick clean kill so I'll take it.
