Gettem boys! I chose to sleep in this morning. I get up and drive every day...rains still falling here and that was good enough to keep my fat ass laying in this warm dry bed.

Drew and i were skunked today. Pulled cam on the way out and our target has shed one side. Total bummer to one of the most trying seasons in the 8 years that he has hunted...may just sleep in tomorrow....View attachment 69829

Ugh, sorry to hear and see that! His body and health must have taken a slight toll to shed this early. Still plenty of season left and another dandy can pass through that’s not a resident. Hope you guys find his sheds when he drops the other one. Good luck the rest of the season

View from the cockpit. I can me building a little 8x8 deck off the ground 1-2' right here. It's very accessible and could be used to host hunters wirh access limitations. Great spot for movement too!

I wung it last night and had a good hunt should of just shot the 8 point that came out ill regret it the rest of the year id say. This morning ive seen 4 does and heard 0 shots. Wind sucks again today.

41* temp w/ 9-11 NW wind and more freaking rain!

9 shots heards so far;

• 5 rapid - must have unloaded the entire gun.
• 2 rapid
• Another 2 rapid

One hunter seen hunting the other side of the creek.

One deer seen on the way in earlier this morning.

I'm so glad that I picked up this umbrella on sale last February.

It's worth its weight in gold as far as I'm concerned cause this season has been one helluva rainy one that's forsure!
