North wind nice and steady. Been several through here since snow stopped, going both directions. I like my chances tonight. image.jpg
Before I could send this, a doe with twins came through. Mom stopped 15-16 yards broadside. I shot an arrow harmlessly over her back. They all jumped from the sound of bowstring, bolted 15 yards and went back to browsing. I used to be able to kill deer with a bow. Lost my mojo, cannot find it anywhere. Been gone for two years. Guess I’ll keep looking for a couple more weeks😠

was a great evening hunt despite my miss on a good opportunity. best one I've had in a good while. oh well. I saw 25 tonight, only one with antlers, and he is a legally antlerless spike. had him at 10 yards, getting ready to draw again, but he looked up at me. didn't make me, but I could not move after that. I saw for the second time a piebald doe that I saw back in the third week of October.
