Oh he has one heck of a story with this deer. I’ll try to relay it at some point. He let it pass twice, hoping his buddy could get a shot. He had him open at thirty and again at ten yards. Josh never had a shot. Mason shot it at 52 yards. It made it about 60 before dying.

Congrats Mason - way to be generous but also do what needed to be done. Lots of maturity at an early age.

52 yards is no easy shot on a buck like that, I don't care who you are! Congrats to Mason for putting the time and appropriate prep work in! Can't wait for the full story.
Buddy shot a big doe last night, helped track and drag it out. He saw a lot of movement as well. Was kind of shocked with the gusting winds we had, that they were on the move as early as they were....
