Bucks are on move this morning in my area.

The third buck was a nice 140 class I'd say, eight point out in the middle of the CRP field moments ago heading further north away from me. Well out bow range.

I had a little buck that pointed him out to me. I have a brief video of that little buck grazing right underneath me that I'll share later when I get home. My phone fugged up on the photograph that I took of him.

Looks like it might turn out to be a real good day for bucks to be on their feet during day.

Just had a decent 130ish buck walk straight through the field about 150 yds away. They're moving.

I don't know if we will get out again as the property we normally hunt is tied up the rest of the season. We were fortunate enough to already get a couple in the freezer though. If we do get out, the deer will go toward a food program for those in need.

Up to 10 bucks . No shooters . Buddy is wanting to switch spots midday so we'll see . I kinda hate getting down but he said there's a fresh cut cornfield that's been loaded and had several shooters in it the last 2 evening .

Just had a doe & two fawns skirting up the way those deer came down last evening. Nothing following. I brought pastrami sandwiches & candy bars, so I'm here for the long haul.... unless I have to let one loose...lol.

I bought a portable phone charger last week & its a damn good thing I did. My S7 Edge battery is terrible anymore.

Big doe just came in from my left & walked right by. She wandered around aimlessly, then went up the way the other deer did.

Had a decent temp drop from yesterday to today. Wasn’t able to get out due to classes in the morning and classes this evening. Looking forward to reading how the day goes.

I hated to do it, but I had to get down and run a few errands @11:00 am.

So far for today, I seen seven deer altogether.

• 4 bucks
• 3 antlerless

One of the little bucks was eating the Locus pods right underneath me when he turned and looked real hard to the North, right at that mature buck within the CRP field 100 yards away at approximately 9:05 am.

The little buck continued traveling in the same direction as the first one I seen earlier a little before 8:-00 am.

The three antlerless deer also were heading in the same direction as the others. I seen them a little after 10:00 am.

All the deer except one were within bow range, and of course the one that wasn't was the better buck.

As soon as I'm done here, I'll be heading back out for the rest of the day.
