Single doe at 25 yds and addy had finger on trigger. Deer spooked due to coyotes barking...dang!

No. We have a couple of other guys and a big group of 12 guys that also hunt the small wood lot. Almost more tree stands and hunters then trees. Woods are only about 20 acres and there are 5 stands with 4 or 5 stands in the adjoining 20 acres of woods.
Ended up not seeing anything. This brilliant guy sat in a stand and let his scent blow right into the bedding area. Fuggin moron!
Did an all day sit today and I was comfortable as can be, even during the snow/sleet/rain.
Seen seven deer total for the day.
I kinda expected the rut to officially kick off around here today, however it appears it might be tomorrow or the next.
I just know it's very close.
I'll be pulling another all day'er tomorrow in a stand somewhere.

Damn, that sucks. Hopefully tommrow,Ya see a few or just the one ya want. Been there done that.
