LIVE from the stand 2018-19

20181119_161610.jpg

Fog is starting to get thick again.

A deer just darted into the CRP in front me, about where that mature buck got up earlier, about 100 yards away.

It might have been him.

Wind is out of the NW@5, which puts me directly downwind of him.

Conditions are ideal for something to happen here for last +hour.

Good luck fellas!

Had two bucks with two does locked down on the other side of 280 from me Saturday and Sunday. The one buck is huge and cars were stopping just to look at him. The doe layed down and he just stood next to her. The other nice buck had a couple little six pointers staying back like they were going to get seconds lol. Even though they were locked down it was cool to see deer of that caliber close to where I hunt. Now just cross 280 and not get hit.

Lol, I remember hunting those flat lands that you can see for miles. I can’t see 40 yards in the place I’ve been hunting. 😂

Lol yeah I can see a country mile across four different properties and still can't see a deer on my side lol
Weird, some good deer between north wood and 20. We looked at 60 acres with a pond by 163 when we bought our house in Ohio. Just couldn’t do the flat land after living in Alaska.

I didn't see anything else.

Those damn deerz,... I had been out switching a cam out next to the pop up with noooooo deer around before I went back out to The Oak. Less than 5 min later, as I was walking to The Oak, 4 or 5 deer ske daddled FROM feeding at The Oak as I was walking back onto my neighbor's property , on the way to sit at that tree.
