Anyone going out tonight?

We are getting steady rain pretty much all day. Wish I knew of a scrape line to sit on but may have to settle with a rub line or just plain pattern I’ve seen this buck walk the last two weeks.

Rain stopped and I’m done with class for the day. Time to hit the woods. Will be the same spot as last week.

I think I’m going to have Mason drop me off at a neighbors farm here in a bit. Some nerve issues in my back have kept me out of action for the most part, can’t walk far, so he will drive the truck close to my point of ambush. Nice to have a chauffeur

New hang behind my house for any wind from due N to anything westerly. Lots of regular and golden acorns on this flat. This is "urban" hunting and if you're not running corn in this neighborhood, you're not in the game. I just set this location Saturday midday and bumped a nice buck on my way up the tree. Holding out for Mr. Gnarly or a nice fat doe.

Just saw the one buck on my way up the tree. Was one of the decent bucks I have on cam, but not the one I'm after. Was a beautiful evening to be out.
