Pulled in the drive to see four does then bumped deer on my way to the blind, since they were standing next to the blind and all. Perhaps this is an evening sit rather than a morning. Oh well. Cool, raining and first sit of the year.

Grand finale is underway apparently. Hanging in the barn with the ducks, chickens, and turkeys until it let's up a bit. It's only a 150 yard walk to the stand and it'll be a quiet one...

Settled in. Still raining thanks to a steady W wind shaking the trees, but it feels like reer killing weather.
I see a dead masked chicken killer. Must have been scared to death by the farmer... 
Been in for awhile, about that ball cap thing you mentioned Dave. Little chilly with that on this morning. Feels like November.
Perfect morning, no action so far. Might be in for a skunk which doesnt seem possible today.
Have been in the stand for an little. First sit out so far this year and it’s nice to be out!

Back on the throne after a skunk. Got soccer and farm chores for the rest of the day. If I'm lucky, I'll get out this evening.

Slept in today...rain, wind, full moon, no shooters yet on cam. If they aren’t moving...why should I?
No see um, but was a much needed therapy session. Going to roof the blind and get the door and windows hinged. That wind picked up! If she lays down this evening, someone should do some tracking.
First sit of the year, feels great to sit in the stand. Cmon big buck deers!
