It's warm. Lucas (after a major spill yesterday that almost required head stitches) and I are gonna go sit behind the shed stand before the bus today. Only about an hour and half of a sit but it's worth it with him. Lol

Out in the blind, borrowing @OhioWhiteTails doe decoy, first time ever using a decoy. Hopefully it brings in some lonely bucks (or fawns, whatever comes in first) so I can catch one. Good luck to everyone that’s out.

I dressed light this morning. Still over cooked. I’m not sure about the “the good weather starts tomorrow” comment. I’m thinking Thursday. Doubt I’m going to sit in 1/2” of rain.

I never owned a true decoy but carried my deer target out a few times Lol with no luck but have had it mangled a few times in the back yard
. Seen alot of videos of them working great and once those bucks commit it's full line, hook and sinker it seems

That’s what I’m hoping for, Nate swears by it. The deer have been hit or mis here in the mornings, but I’m hoping for a cruising buck a couple hundred yards away on the field edge will see it and come check it out. I’ve had coons stay a lot longer in a tree then they’d planned They've tried too come down but the ole stink eye stopped them from making it, that and a broadhead poke or two....

I had a squirrel sitting between my feet one time while sitting in a stand. That was a little uncomfortable.
Let's see what happens. Going to sit until about 10:30 or so.
