First sit back here, only an East wind can make this low Bottom Plot work... pleased with how it went, Dutton walked up the middle of it yesterday just about now. Hunted the other side of the valley this AM in another new stand.- Swamp. 3 on a family group and a lone doe with nobody following...

6 point trotted by. He got about 100 yards down the point and ran into a two year old 7 point. He opted to keep trotting. Quite breezy

I see him. He’s been in this bedding since 445. Hoping he gets up soon. Wind is perfect, does funneling through. He’s at roughly 85 yards.

It’s not going to happen again! He got up and walked even further back into bedding, while does we’re getting worked by tiny bucks all over. Tomorrow morning, in the rain, with an east wind, count me in.

I saw the shot, heard him run the leaves with my bionic ears, he stopped for about 5-6 sexonds then I heard him step.. crash. Within 50 yards of where I hit him. Arrow looked good, massive blood in the first 5 yds- with rain on the way i made the call to retrieve.
