I’m in the tree now. Got a little sweated up getting in here today as I was in a hurry (shame on me). But all is well. Weatherman is calling for east wind but right now it is coming out of the south ever so slightly. Hopefully it turns soon when the sun comes up.

Nothing here yet. Still really foggy. The wind did turn NE so that’s a plus.

Had that same 7pt walk in front of me at daylight, couple unaccompanied minors and the girls are back...
Yeah thick ass fog. Can see about fifty yards. Good luck hunters!

Morning has been insane so far. Sitting the oak flat that I had the first encounter with him. Seen 4 does and 5 different bucks. VERY RUT LIKE so far this morning. Lots of running around, chasing, grunting, and bumping! None were the buck that I need to see, but incredible morning in the woods so far! Good luck to everyone out today!
Found one shooter yesterday, setup a stand for him midday now just waiting for the right wind. Several deer seen this morning and watched a different shooter move into a bedding area at daybreak. Going to set up on him for the afternoon. May head home tomorrow through thursday as temps rise.

Just had a mature funky rack 5x3 with a double brow work through. Looked like an older buck on the decline. Might try to get the kids on him. He was definitely seeking. Moved through at a good pace.
Just went and helped the neighbor load one up. His biggest to date! That leaves this block of woods wide open for Levi.

Other than the huge buck that was here just before legal shooting light, only thing seen since is a flock of turkeys and a doe at 10:30. Hope that big one comes back when it is light enough to see through the scope!
@Boarhead has a guy, Tom Moore in Carroll I believe that does great work and is an official scorer.

I was out Saturday AM for a few hours is NW Coshocton County. Beautiful day but got warm early. Heard a few footy steps but saw nothing. Ill be back Fri night for the entire weekend. Maybe they'll get moving up by then. Good luck everybody. Be safe.
