I’m up to 3 on WV public my dads buddy whined all day yesterday and killed a 10 this morning. We had 1 pic of it all fall and he killed it 100 yards from the house. He’s 77 years old and consistently still kills good deer.

I think I’m gonna hunt tonight. It’s supposed to be windy as hell, but I figure I’ll be able to get in there undetected. It’s public, and I have no idea how hard to was hit this past weekend. It will more than likely suck, but all my chores at home are done and I don’t have anything better to do.

Hoping this wind drops 10mph like they're saying.

Been settled in for about 20 minutes now. Already starting better than the other morning, I remembered my gloves, hat and gaiter lol. I have a lot of positives this evening so far, wind isn’t ripping as hard as it was earlier and it’s the same wind that those does came through on. I am in a different tree, and if they do what they did the other night I should get a 20 yard shot. Also called in a 4pt on accident, he must’ve heard me hanging my sticks and came to check it out, first time that’s happened to me so that’s pretty cool. There also appears to be 0 human sign in here after youth weekend so I’m praying the deer are still on their normal schedule. Either way it’s a nice night out. Good luck to anyone else in the woods.
