2 dinks just rolled through, thought they were going to go at it until one started thrashing a sapling and must of scared the other one. Pretty cool to watch.

Another small one chased a doe down to me. At least it was an 8 and not spike.

Shot an 8 point this morning dogging does. Gonna have to let him set. Shot was a touch back. Looks like a liver hit. Wish I had my recurve the shot would have been easier....

I just moved from the fence row into the woods. Haven't been here ten minutes. Grunted and had a coyote come in. No shot.

Had a feisty prairie dog to deal with and of course 3 doe caught me with my pants down. Nothing behind them, but they may have made up my mind on where to move this stand. All the deer I've seen in the last 2 days have crossed by the same stump. I can get on the west side of it to allow for this east wind and be in good shape. I'm seeing doe here and I like hunting the ridge tops. This one has a nice logging road and some natural edge due to a transition in cover.
