Getting ready to take my daughter out to that blind I set up for us. Between me and you guys, I hope she gets to see some deer but I hope they don't present a shot. I'm really not in the mood to drag one out of the woods tonight but will if I have to. She wants to go so I'm not gonna say no to that.

You know it will happen then.....you see her excitement your adrenaline will take over. Good Luck!

Just saw a great chase in the south woods. The wheat field should be hopping this evening.

Looks like that buck is with that doe. He's standing in the wood line like a statue with other does around him.

I missed the biggest deer of my life at 2:30 today. I got settled in and grunted a couple times. Not a minute later here he comes walking slowly right towards me. Instead of continuing to come directly in, he turns and cuts through a small thicket. I see an opening where he is headed. I draw and wait for him to get there. As he does, I bah to stop him and he takes half a step to much. I tried to squeeze it in but my arrow hit a sapling or small tree. The way he was headed it was now or never. Arrow shattered. Broadhead clean. He shot off about 70 yards then stopped. The wind picked up and he was downwind from me caught my wind and bolted off. Biggest deer I have ever seen. Definite Booner. I am sitting here in my stand in disbelief. I have had to stop myself puking.

Damn Marcus! That's a kick in the dick. Sorry to hear it man. Hopefully you get redemption!

I've never even seen a deer like that, let alone have him at 32 yds. I've also never felt physically ill over an animal. Thanks Jesse, but I am guessing he was a cruising giant from who knows where' that I will likely never see again.

Can hear a chainsaw south of Garrett and I where the deer generally come from. Garrett sighed when he heard it. I smiled. Hopefully it bumps them our way a bit earlier.

Daughter and I were skunked. Did see a big ass doe 10 feet in front of my truck while going 50mph lol. Had to hit the brakes pretty hard and just about hit her.
