I'm where I go when I'm mailing it in, the blind behind my parents. Didn't feel like working too hard and the farm is worthless. Anything can happen back here. What is sure to happen is I'm reading Steven Rinella's book on the Kindle, eating deer jerky and not doing chores. Got my duck stuff all ready for tomorrow, so I'll say it again: Fuck deer.

Saw 3 does, downwind of me Again...turned around and calmly left...fugg me...i moved the set since this is the second time those bitches semi-busted me...i guess they don't like smoke!
Sitting with Klay in the blind in the very location he shot his 10 point from last year. First sit here this year. Wind is ok. We shall see.

Skunked again, and I tried changing things up a bit. Saw 2 in the landowner's yard on the way out. I may hunt his kid's jungle gym tomorrow... If this keeps up, I'm going to bail on hunting these deer- I gotta get where I can see some!
Saw some great bucks today... They were pretty much everywhere I went..... Of course I was in Cabela's at the time..... Spent too many bucks there that's for sure.....
11 doe came out right at dark. 7 of them stood downwind at 25 yards tempting Klay to shoot. But, with the fading light we decided against it.
