Had a big bodied buck in my corn pile tonight. Watching him through my daughters window with my kids...daughter says "go get him dad". Got my juices going enough to grab MY bow and run through that motions. Had him ranged at 12 yards...no shots taken. My excuse to her was "we don't have to kill every one we see". I think we all know the truth though. [emoji19]

Bearded Chad and I had 2 bucks and 3 does in range this evening. Chad opted to pass on the smaller bucks. Right at last light it looked to be 4-5 deer of unknown sex out in the cut corn, they came running down the gas line.

Sounds like a great hunt. Get back in the saddle in the morn. Going to be 29 degrees down this way. Should be a slammin morning

Hoping the windy overcast night had them bedded down most of the night, and ready to rock and roll when it gets light. I'm gonna head in early and be waiting on them. Good luck fellers.

Just saw a shooter at about 85 yards with a doe. 150" plus. Deer changed patterns this year. Gonna have to switch things up next year..

Overslept this morning. Heading out now. See if there are any late morning deer out there. Saw a mature shooter in the picked field on my way so hopefully some are still on their feet.
