Drew was skunked again tonight...I'm beginning to think he used up all his luck this summer on his shovelhead.....thinking about calling it for the week until the guns come out this weekend.....dang!!

Drew seen 3 does and a 4 point yesterday eve. No shots.
Addy seen 5 deer this am. Some may have been the same...all were by themselves. 3 were small bucks 2 were unknown..
Drew seen a 4 point...probably done until am due to rain coming...

Drew was skunked this eve.
Addy killed a doe. She seen a shooter buck earlier but no shot and he didn't respond to calls. She was done messing around and dropped the hammer on a doe. Perfect shot and easy recovery...Drew literally tripped over it, lol.

Drew hunted and was skunked last night. He's debating on heading out here in a bit but rain is coming.....

Got hunter out this am for a bit and I killed one of two we jumped.

Drew seen nothing tonight. Frustration has set in and he claims he's shooting the first brown he sees...small rack or skin head included. Guns come out in the am so time will tell....

Both kids skunked this am. Not much shooting. Heard 8 shots, all singles. One was a buddy of mine. He killed a nice sized doe. Back out this afternoon.....

Addy seen 2 last night. No shots and it was too thick to tell if either were bucks or does.
Drew's struggle continued, he seen nothing.

Drew seen nothing tonight....
Addy killed another doe. We watched her run about 50 yds and tip over. It was the 4th deer we seen tonight....3 in the group when she shot plus a single we seen early.
I gotta run Drew a deer this week or he's saying he will give it up for the season...his struggle is real, he has always hammered them and he's getting frustrated!

She even did the "hard work" lol. If she can just close the deal on one of the shooters we have on cam or any buck the makes her happy, I'll get back to helping Drew punch his tags!!
