It's colder than a witches tit in a brass bra out here! 10 degree wind chill. We just got done shooting for almost 5 straight minutes, it was wave after wave of birds. We killed 5 singles to start the day. We're at 22 now.

Ha. Make that 23. Just found a flyer about 200 yards out. So we killed 17 in 5 minutes!!!

what in the world yall gonna do with all dem birds

We breasted 40 in 8 minutes last night. We'll divide it all up when we get back to Ohio. There'll be plenty of jerky and crock pot meals that's for sure!

The hotel has a sheet of plywood on two sawhorses out back by the dumpsters just for goose hunters. (You also get a discount if you are a goose hunter on your hotel bill.) We set up an assembly line last night with 6 people and it was actually an easy process.

How long did it take you guys TOO lay out all those dece's?

There are 600 out and we didn't have to set them out, the guides do. We did move about 50 yesterday when we changed the spread after the wind switched.

Killed 2 more a little while ago. Zach and I both fired simultaneous on both birds, you should've seen 'em fold! I've shot 30 rounds today and I know I've killed 6, and hit a few more. The old Benelli is a bird killing machine!!!

48 for the day. You guys are gonna love the recap I post on Monday! Some funny ass shit went down today like playing "Thunderstruck" over 8 e-caller speakers to pump up the decoys!!! And a great video of Zach dancing to another tune. We had a ball today to say the least!

This is awesome! How much did the trip cost and how many days are you going for?

$1285 for 3 days fully guided. Plus gas, hotel, and food. I'll have $1700-1800 in it when it's all said and done with. But I feel like I got more than my monies worth and we have one day left. And we are hunting a field tomorrow that had 5K birds in it all day today. Plus the weather is going to be perfect, which is great because the last two days have not been all the conducive for killing big numbers.

We got a great compliment from the guide tonight. On the way out he says: "You guys are by far the best shooting group I've ever had." We have 6 in our group and with the exception of me, the group is made up of extremely seasoned waterfowlers. I held up my end of the bargain though! I was pretty worried I'd suck ass because I have really limited experience. So I'm kinda relieved to say the least!

Hopefully tomorrow will be epic!!! Now its time for Applebees and Blue Moon!!!
