We went out fishing last night with my father in-law, brother in -law, my wife Laura and Little Riverdude. We got 19 walleyes, one sheep head and this. We were out maybe 2 miles trolling and Laura got this catfish. Can anyone tell me what it is? Flat head, bullhead, yellow fin??? Just curious, we did throw him back.

Channel catfish. Notice the V in the tail. Flatheads don’t have that and neither do bullhead/yellow belly fish.

Channels normally have spots on the sides. I’d say channel or blue. Hard to tell without a closeup.

It's a channel. I hit up Indian Lake this morning. Was a challenge finding clean water. Did grind out 8 keeper saugeye between 16-22 inches

, 3 crappie, 1 perch, and a white bass that was hooked deep

Fly fishing tonight, went 1/3 on koi and lost count on yellows.

Big carp, a fly rod, and a paddle board. Fun times. Even when you take a dive off the board for the first time ever (3 years of fishing it). I was testing a new fly and got some good feedback from the bugle bass.

Allen's B-day present was a charter out walleye fishing yesterday on the St. Clair River between Michigan and Canada. We caught so many fish we lost count, probably ending around 40 fish the more we thought about it. To say he enjoyed himself was an understatement.

Helluva day! I wanna do the Detroit River jigging bite someday

Had a decent morning casting on the surf. Caught a lady fish, jack, and a snook. Most fish were biting about 3-5 yards into the waterline.

Had a couple that bit the tail off the plastic and had an unfortunate quick release on an un-pictured snook.
