Those rock bass are fun to catch because they are so doggone aggressive. If you are targeting a specific species though, it can get annoying. Nice fish!

Went to a bowfishin' spot today, but instead of a bow, i took a fishin' pole! This spot is one of those places where you need to go on certain days to avoid the hassle of people yelling, etc. Grabbed a can of sweet corn and a circle hook!! Second cast and caught a 4-5 pounder... not baad!! I only one caught though... theres goldfish in there too... hmmm:smiley_clap:

First carp i've caught that was intentional, not shot and also not snagged. lol.ickle:

My dad pulled this guy out if the Ohio River just south of Steubenville. Never know what you'll get.

We had to hurry and get out if the spot because a barge was about to lower a cable on us. Lol

Fished a couple days this weekend with high hopes of filling up the basket with bluegills. Caught a ton, but only 20 or so keepers. Will be hitting it again this week in hopes of getting enough for a fry this weekend.

High point of the weekend was getting out on the water with my grandpa, he's been dieing to hit the lake and we were finally able to make it happen.

Also, got the wife's new ride setup with a hitch so I don't have to keep taking my gas guzzling truck every trip! She wasn't as thrilled as I was though!

Nothing real big yet. Lost a nice one on the lake last week though.

Made it out on Ferguson reservoir lastnight to do a little trolling and drifting for walleye. Not much luck at all, one walleye well under the 15 inch minimum and a decent catfish.

We used mostly worm harnesses and jigs with twister tails. I will own a Fish Finder before my next adventure fishing deep water, makes it tough when you are guessing depth the entire time.

Great weather and a nice relaxing evening on the water though!
