They are right up on the banks right now. I mean like within a foot. Let me know if you head down this way. I can point you to some favorite areas.

Erie was one angry lake today....

Yes it was...we ended up in some tributary waters on the bank. Didn't do well at all, no knife needed on this trip. Ended up throwing in the towel and just got back home. A day early, but with the storms forecasted and basically no luck today, it was the best call.

Got there @6:45 pulled the plug @1200 ran to lake Milton which is about a half hour north of where we live and Kevin (the guy we fished with) caught some smallies there, one did a nice acrobatic show for him.... He's a fan lol
Heading black up here in a little bit to give Erie another shot as the wave report is much more conducive to get to our spots....

We met our goal of getting them some quality small mouths, all three caught fish Ohio Smallies and sheephead lol....
2' rollers today which you can run in all day.... They had a blast and we had a great time being guides.... They'd do it again in a heartbeat and may come back this summer as two of the three are retired.... I told they to make he trip and I'll go up to Erie with em.....

Nicely done J!

I took a baseball buddy of Masons and his dad with us tonight to catch some channels. We caught 12-15. All about like this one with whiskers and spiney fins. We pitched them all back along with the dozen or so crappie we caught. It wasn't fast and furious but was a decent evening on the lake.

Definitely some great fish and full stringers being posted on here guys, keep after it. Nicely done J and Brock getting others out and sharing some wealth.

I haven't had a rod and reel in my hand lately just due to life getting in the way, but what time I have had has been spent with a bow on the boat with some good friends. We've been doing pretty well at nocking down the carp population. Here's couple pictures from the last couple outings. IMG_1485.jpgIMG_1483.jpgIMG_1479.jpg best fish in the boat this year so far came in at 32" and 16.9#sIMG_1493.jpg

Fished lake Milton up here in northeast Ohio and my best 5 fish limit was between 10-12 lbs....

John I saw so many carp today it was ridiculous ..... They were everywhere....

Thanks guys, pile of stink and slime is right! I usually try my best to just flip them into the bucket and not handle them.

Fishing has been slow this week. Still fun to get out and fish in the salt though. Caught this ~16-18" snook this morning. Hope that now that the weather has turned the fishing will as well. IMG_1237.JPG

Nephews and I trolled up 9 keeper saugeye, 9 keeper crappie, 1 perch, and 11 nice catfish at Indian Lake today. Catfish not pictured, but they were cleaned for the fryer tonight. Actually if you look you can see the remnants of the cats in the gut bucket in the lower left corner of the pic
