No turkeys yet. But I did just blast a yote. Would mount him but I blew the top of his head off. Pics to come later.
No gobbling at all for me this morning. I did have ahen and her poults cross the road as I was leaving.
By the time I got my phone out I only captured the last one trying to catch up.

Toms have completely shut up around here now. Gonna be tough to kill #2 the way its going...
That is a good start to the day whether you saw any turkeys or not! Well done my friend!
Had a decent amount of gobblers this morning, but like other mornings, they were not on the property I have permission to hunt. I guess I need to get permission next door!
I had one hen out in the field, alone. I saw two "little things" running along the property next door. I put the glass on them and they turned out to be two coyote pups! I ran a few distress calls from my phone, but I didn't see mom or dad.
The best part of my hunt was this!
I'll be out tomorrow morning and again on Saturday, but that will be it for me. It has went quiet here TOO. I dealt with hens the entire season, even in the handful of evening hunts I went on...
I think the skeeters are going to carry me away today, going to be short today
