My cousin sent me that the other night and I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me😎

I was really close to putting it on last night but I only had about 30 minutes to work with and I didn't want to listen to a partial episode. Hopefully tonight it'll work out. I listened to Steve Rinella's podcast with Dan Flores and it was excellent. With Rogan's personality and inquisitive nature, I'm sure this one will be just as good if not better.

Lol, alright...I expected someone else to take the bait this time. I'm done sidetracking. I'll check this one out tonight. Thanks for posting it brother!

Resurrecting an old thread here.

Last night a buddy and I attended the live recording of the Meateater podcast at The Funny Bone in Columbus. It was excellent. The venue, the guests, the topics discussed... All just flat out excellent and I would do it again for sure. Great experience. Steve Rinella was there of course, and his guests were Janis Putellis, Ryan Callahan, Mark Kent

Last night a buddy and I attended the live recording of the Meateater podcast at The Funny Bone in Columbus. It was excellent. The venue, the guests, the topics discussed... All just flat out excellent and I would do it again for sure. Great experience. Steve Rinella was there of course, and his guests were Janis Putellis, Ryan Callahan, Mark Kenton, and Keving Murphy. At the end of the show, it was especially cool listening to Kevin Murphy talk about his catfishing trip on Sandusky Bay when he was up here (right in my back yard). He's a Kentuckian and knows a good catfish fishery when he sees one. He gave it rave reviews, as well as the entire Lake Erie islands area, which was really cool to hear, being a local. It's funny how my buddies and I live within 10 minutes of arguably one of the best catfishing destinations in the country, yet we almost never go after catfish. Anyway, I can't reiterate how great of a show it was and I'd recommend attending to anyone if they're ever back in Ohio.

A huge bonus to last night was meeting up with good buddy Huck Finn and his wife for a pre-show dinner. Steve doesn't participate on the forum quite as much as he used to but I can say he's doing well and obviously outpunted his coverage when he got married. It was great to catch up and share some time before the evenings festivities.

Super jealous of the experience brother!

If you guys have not seen the episode of MeatEater where they squirrel hunt with Kevin, you should go watch it!

Also, if you have not listened to Ep 119, I highly recommend every give it a listen. They get deep about "why" we do what we do and how we should go about thinking about it. Just a fantastic conversation.

Yes! That show episode with Kevin down in Kentucky chasing squirrels is a really good one!

And X2 for podcast episode 119... I listened to it while mowing grass a week or so ago. I purposely mowed more than I needed to just to keep listening! Lol

Check out the Hunting Collective too. It’s definitely a good one covering lots of thought provoking material.

Shameless plug: 🤣 If you’re interested in listening to the story of my turkey hunt with Taylor this spring check out Chasing Tales episode 44.

Lol. Yeah, I’ve been slacking on my posts and pictures. Me and John ventured down south for something new and joined up with Taylor for a couple hunts. It was a blast! Lots of laughs and some good cardio running up and down those hills.

Yeah Taylot is good people and always a good time. Did you try to dragging him on the witches property? Lol.

Lol. Nope we stuck to running and gunning public land. I don’t want any of that bad ju-ju on me.

I mean am I missing something here, Curran weren't you also on the episode of the Meateater Podcast before the Columbus one??? The Sportsman's Alliance one. Unless this was brought up on another thread, I thought I would mention it. I really loved that episode and what you guys are doing with all the legal stuff. I listen to all the Meateater Episodes on my way to work and as soon as I heard your name, I'm like, hey I think that guy is on TOO. Sorry if this was discussed somewhere else, but you guys did really well on the podcast. Huge shout out! I believe its episode 123.

Jesse, I’ve finally taken the time in listening to several Joe Rogan’s podcasts and he’s the real deal. Great interviewer that’s a natural.

The latest one was yesterday of the interview with Elon Musk while they both sipped on bourbon. Elon Musk is quite the innovator and brilliant mind. How does he find the time to do all he does is beyond me. 😳
