It started to melt last night above freezing 1st time in 20 days or so. Temp dropped to 28 currently supposed to hit 34 today. A lot of moisture with windy conditions. It feels bitter freaking cold and shitty. Id take single digit temps all winter over these current conditions.

I'm happy we didn't get more than a sprinkle up here. Dirt is going to be flying from farmers tilling full speed ahead in the next few weeks if the precip. stays in check....180* from last spring!
Yup, I fear totally saturated grounds, top heavy trees and high winds aren’t a very good combo right now. Anyone shed hunting especially in the timber better watch out for all those Widow Makers out there!
We keep getting rain moving through but stalling over top of us for longer then forecasted. Go from the .25“ too an inch of rain. I hand dug some ditches over the winter too alleviate some issues and after a lengthy rain late yesterday afternoon, a buddy pulled in and said all the ditches were flowing and nothing too speak of affecting the driveway. 
Someone mentioned 30s with moist air feels cold and nasty. Working outside I must say I hate the 30s . 40s-100 I'm great, 25- to negatives I'm great..... 30s suck far worse than any other temp for some reason must be just the non froze cold moist air I guess. It's almost 40 here gonna be a great day.
Wet cold vs dry cold is how I view it. Wet cold just goes to the bones....
