Highlight of the weekend has to be Steve at lunch! Cottis and Steve were napping while Ryan and I shot bows. We're gearing up to leave when we hear a big "THUD" come from inside. Ryan says: "Did someone fall?" I said: "That or Steve leaned TOO far back in the chair..."
So we go up to check and Tracie is at the door literally LOL'ing and shows me this picture. Old Steve was straight up passed out and grabbed a little TOO much air for the Lazy-Boy to handle! lmao
In his defense, it's easy to do. But it's still hilarious! Talked about a rude awakening!!!

I tell ya what... No matter if anyone sheds blood this weekend or not, Jesse is an awesome host. He and Tracie have gone above and beyond hosting us. Last night he, Tracie, Jamie, and Greg cooked us up some tnderloin and backstraps on the fire and today Jesse hooked us up with venison Philly cheesesteaks for lunch.
This has been a great experience and it's been a pleasure spending time with Steve, Ryan, Aholdren, And Kate as well well.
Aholdren stopped in last night to enjoy the evening festivities.
Tonight we are heading to the Fluteman Bar N Grill to hang out. There we will finally get to hang with Redcloud as well.
Outstanding hospitality!!!

No action for me tonight. Not sure of the others yet. I'm sitting on Jesse's tailgate waiting on them.
Adam and I saw two does and a bb this morning, and four does and two fawns this evening. Had a monster doe @ 25 yards, waiting on Adam to draw when we got busted by the does behind us. Good hunts! Now to prepare for the evening shenanigans.

Saw 4 doe tonight. Let my first arrow ever go and it doesnt look promising. Going to watch the video and Jesse and I will go look for her in the morning.
Good luck in the morning finding her Ryan and Jesse! If it makes you feel any better, I have loosed 3 arrows at deer this year with one tagged, one unscathed, and one I am pretty sure is dead but we never found. Sucks big time. Wish I wasn't tied up or I would be loading up Hank to give you guys a hand. Helluva drive, but I hear there I would be surrounded by good company. hahaha That would be one helluva expensive recovery. Doe recovered at the cost of $100 in fuel and 8 hrs driving. lol
