You leave my BB alone. Those are future BOONERS lmao.

Don't worry man, I will hurry up and slap a tag on that droptine so you can shoot whatever buck that is left lol. Actually I want to see that old 11pt from last year show back up.

I also found out something interesting you will want to see. I took a pic of our neighbor's new setup. Will send it to your phone now.

Got any bucks for the list Dennis? Sure there has to be some good bucks down there in Fallsville.

I know what Diablo is looking at down at his place and as of right now and I have that droptine buck on the list but if my old nemeses shows back up for the 3rd year he will be my #1 buck.

I have 4 properties I hunt besides fallsville, nothing huge on cam yet, but I just put a cam out Sunday on my hot spot so we will see, have a couple ill take if need be but they are high and tight, I like my wide bucks. Fallsville is my favorite place to hunt, I've seen some monsters there. 2 seasons ago I saw the biggest buck I've ever seen there and was shaking so bad I couldn't get it done, this buck actually did the growl, defending a hot doe with 2 140" bucks trying to get her, he had to be over 200, and that same season a monster got shot in muzzy I believe, was on the cover of a mag, I would swear it was the same deer

All my hunting spots are more or less along the I-77 corridor. Most of the places I deer hunt appear to still be recovering from the EHD outbreak last year and I don't have a single buck on camera that I would consider shooting yet. Not that having one on camera matters, as most of the bucks I have tagged I don't have on trail cameras. Now that it's getting cooler, I hope to have a roamer or two show up.

Here is the latest on the droptine buck. He is still hanging around. Will be sitting in a tree about 15 yards from this cam opening morning.

Kind of a double edge sword. I would love to shoot him but I also want him another year older lol. Just don't know who else out there knows he is around lol. I do know that anybody else out there will shoot him in a heartbeat.

I know what you mean had the same delima last year you hate too shoot a decent buck if you know he will make it but, in my neck of the woods if a deer makes it past 130 140 its a rare ocassion because of so many hunters just wanting to kill a buck not too many bucks make it past 2.5 years old up here.

You must hunt my neighborhood lol. I had a couple good bucks last year and the year before but have yet to see either of them this year. I'm not sure if they have hit the GHOST years and they will pop back up or not. Most bucks around me will never see 125-130" for the same reasons you stated. Guys around here will snap a shot off at the first decent buck they see regardless of the bucks young age. Even seeing a buck over 3.5 is almost unheard of around here these days.

Sweet! I have never seen a buck with a droptine while deer hunting. That is a tough decision. I could see you pulling the trigger if he steps out in front of you :smiley_coolpeace:

I'm headed down south Thursday to change some memory cards and put the seats back on the stands. I also have to help the landowner mow one last time before season starts. I'm hoping I finally see something decent on camera this year.

With the weather forecast in the mid 70s this weekend, I'm not sure if I will hunt Saturday evening. I may wait until the front passes and hunt Monday or Tuesday after work.
