My gear is in the truck and I am headed out after work this evening. It's always great to get back out there for the first time in a new season. I'll be hanging out in an inside corner of a field.
Looks like it will be really warm the rest of the week so I may not go again for a week or so.

I'm going too give it a shot again tonight myself, with the rain yesterday we are out of the fields today so I'm headed too the stand just not ssur which one. The rest of the week not so promising, for the weather or my schedule. Good luck and stay safe

Hell no, he is a young guy. Gave me the perfect shot though lol. Next year he will be a beast, long main beams and chocolate good looking 10 for sure

I didn't see anything this morning but a coon that was running late getting back to bed lol. He run by at 8am lol.

This evening I had a button buck and his twin sister run by at 6:30ish. About 10-15 minutes later I seen another hunter as he walked out to head for the truck. Don't even know if that guys has a slip to hunt there. That's 3 guys on this property since opening morning. The 2 that was there Saturday don't hunt the property but walk to their stands on the neighbors property that won't let anybody but family hunt it. Not my land so I can't tell them to get bent and find a different route to their stands.

I will not be able to get back out until Sunday morning so I hope you guys have a good week if you get out.

Nice pics customizer. I saw a few does last night but nothing in range. Felt great to get out again. There are still a lot of leaves on the smaller trees in the woods so visibility was not great.

Congrats on a fine doe.

I will get mine at Strouds since I don't have enough on my properties.

As far as bucks, well, who knows what those stupid things are doing lol. I can't figure them out on this property. I love flat land but I really hate it when trying to hunt deer.
