The Exercise Thread

I've been working on deep stationery squats and balance exercises for about three weeks now. I'm also standing while working on the puter. A lot of positives have happened. My knee pain is subsiding and so is my lower back pain.

This ^^^. Same here, Mike.

The first time I did one of those deep, stationary squats, I actually found it a surprisingly comfortable position to be in. Now I try to do it at least 2-3 times a day. I think it really helps reduce tightness in the hips and lower back.

100%. I couldn't get down there for a week! Now it's no problem.

I'll note something here that I know and am mad at myself for overlooking/forsaking for so long, but the reduction in cortisol levels fhat good diet and exercise provide, makes a tremendous difference in your stress levels. I've never been under more stress than I am right now with my job and all the other things I'm involved with. The past two days have been marked by high stress, but a much lower response from my body. I've also cut FB out of my life due to the negativity around one of our projects and that's certainly contributing to the results. But shitty food and a sedentary lifestyle only compounds the stress us men feel in the course of our normal lives. My heart thanks me 😂
