Watched last night. I thought he missed at first because it didn't make any noise. They commented later that the single bevel heads he was using are known for not making that telltale "thwack" sound.

I love how those guys get aggressive and it really highlights what's possible if you don't pussyfoot around like we tend to do on our "manicured" properties. Between these guys and Midwest Whitetail, I get all I need from hunting content. It's both sides of the spectrum and I love seeing both ways of getting it done.

I plan on getting more aggressive this year. I did it in turkey season and it made a big difference. I scouted a bunch this year and have quite a few places on public ground that I am going to hunt for deer.

A couple of other good YouTube channels is "The Hunting Beast" which is Dan Infalt and "DIY Sportsman" DIY Sportsman I just started watching a couple of shows, but it seemed good. Both of those guys were on the Public Land Challenge that THP hosted last year. Infalt is going to be on the one this year.

Nw oh
he got lucky that buck turned his head. It'd been hard to get up before he bolted. I've had to many times that's happened. Crossbow from the ground is the only way for me. Shot a buck from the ground the last three years at 10 yards or less. I'll never try again with a bow unless getting down from a stand to try and get one. Awsome show.

ANyone watch the new video they put out last night. Some crazy footage.

I almost pulled one off much he did last season.
You can see a good buck momentary leaping away from me as I stood up. It's not greatest footage, but it was as exciting it could be none the less to put that stalk on him.
I gave it whirl. I did a couple of them last season like this.
I watched him bed within that large 6' tall CRP field early that day.
I hiked and crawled within 20 yards of him and had an arrow knocked ready to go only to get busted by another deer that I didn't see downwind of me that blew his ass off and spooked him straight away from me.
