Hand, foot, and mouth virus. Sounds like a Veterinarian's diagnosis instead of a doctors, haha. Guess it's been going around. Dr said big brother probably brought it home from school. Only lasts a few days or so

The school nurse sent home a notice about it. Apparently it's going around here as well.

Knowing you like I do, I know how it's getting ya! Maybe it's a blessing. Light pressure at home while the neighborhood rejects push deer to you. Like every season for the last decade, I got a good feeling about your season brother!

Thanks brother. The only reason it's really getting to me is because the late beans are still green and the deer are hammering them right now! I've always wanted to hunt over green soy beans! I don't think they're gonna turn in a week though, so I'll glass hard the next eight days and give it a go next weekend!

Yep, I'm not highly motivated as well Greg.... slowing down at the start of this year as to not burn myself out....

I'm with you guys there, or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Haven't had the time or resources to get after it like I used too. Hopeing to hit my stride the last week of October and roll on through. Still gotta find my dad a deer! He's chomping at the bit

Well hunting season is going to have to wait a little while. Truck is acting up. Either turbo is going out or vein position sensor is bad. Going to tear into it this morning and try to figure it out. Hope it is the sensor. Don't want to take any chances though. Hate to have the turbo grenade then I would be looking at a whole engine. Either going to be a $200 fix or $1500 depending on if it's the sensor or turbo. I guess we will see.

Well no closer to know what it is then when I headed out. Pulled vein position sensor and cleaned it up good. Checked shaft on turbo it seems good. Putting it back together after the sensor cleaning will test it out and see. If it is still acting up I will have to put it on a scanner before pulling turbo altogether. Still hopeful it's not the turbo. Hate to have to dish out that kind of coin right now.

That's sucks man. My cummins has started eating apps. 3 in 2 years to be exact. Taking it to a cummins pro who says he can stop the madness. We shall see.

Got it all back together and took it for a quick test. Ran good. Did not show the same symptoms as before. No turbo bark when shifting. Hopefully the sensor was just gummed up. Not sure yet though. Will put a scanner on it too see if position desired is same as actual vein position and go from there. Maybe I will get lucky.

Today we have to put my wife's dog down. She's been getting worse over the last year and it's not fair to let her suffer. Going to be rough on us, more for her since she's had Mel for about 10 years. This will be the first animal I will witness being put down, not really looking forward to it[emoji20] This dog hated me at first, like she does all males, but she grew on me over the years. I guess she came from an abusive home where she was beaten by some asshole, which is why she always hated dudes.

Wow, sorry to hear this Chad... Sucks when you have to do this but you're doing the right thing in not allowing it to suffer....
