Took my 5 year old out on her first hunt last night. We sat in a blind for almost an hour. She did a good job and loved trying to rattle. It kept her interested. Unfortunately we didn't see any deer but I loved every minute of it. I look forward to her being my hunting buddy in the future.
Great stuff Mao. You are in trouble when she is older. She is a pretty little girl. Nice pictures and memories you made last night. Way to light the hunting fire in the youngster!

Great stuff getting your daughter involved!
I had a great sit. Action packed night with lots of does/youngins as scripted. No bone to be seen, but very encouraging.

Couple of views from tonights sit. First evening in the stand where I was getting all the buck pics. Bumped something on the way in....dang! Weird wind tonight.

I'm also settled in, down in a bottom. The wind is still shaking the trees pretty good here. But it's too cold and perfect to not be out hunting. Goodluck Jesse. Woods are quiet. Hafta keep your eyes peeled.
Just saw possibly the biggest deer I've seen in these woods thrash a tree. He'd still around...
