Wind is trying to blow the blind away. Dad spooked 4 does from the feeder. Watched em hit a trail 20 yards from here. Will be here earlier and catch em going across...

Watched a small 8 run some does this morning. This afternoon I've only see one doe wandering all along. No buck trailing. Hopefully it won't be long.

I came back down the field edge. The wind is 20 mph less down here. It was crazy up there. No deer all day.....AGAIN!!

Good persistence Wayne. Can sit around and cry about it, or you can go out there and get after them. You won't know when the light switch gets flipped unless you are out there. I was ready to head home yesterday. Cold and hungry with minimal activity. Got down, peed in the creek, warmed up climbing down, so I moved trees. Not 10min later I watched some of the most intense chasing I have ever seen. Hang in there buddy. You are due. Good luck on your next hunt!

I got out & was watching an intersection of trails.... nothing. I didn't really expect any with the wind, but at least I wasn't in the recliner whining about not seeing any. It gave me some ideas for the morn, but when I know something is going to walk by my blind then, it's a hard toss up.

Had a small fork horn dogging a doe about 3 this afternoon, he had her pinned in the middle of a big briar patch, he was running circles around it trying to flush her out. She finally took off and he was hot on her trail, around 4 had a 6 point and another 4 point come meandering through, not a care in the world, they got directly downwind of me , the 6 put his head up and sniffed then went back to his business , thank you scent smoker!

Finally saw 3 deer this evening. I left everything in the tree and will be heading back to the stand in the morning since apparently it is the only spot I hunt that has deer. Good luck everyone hang in there. It only takes one.

Seen the one guy was out hunting in the same area I was this morning. No sooner then I get parked and seen a small 6pt bound off back into the woods. About 10-15 minutes later see a bigger buck head for the hills. He ran across the pasture, jumped the fence, and headed to a property that has no hunting. This was about 8:30 this morning. Stayed out until 2pm and those was the only deer I seen. I hung it up with the high winds and headed home.

Will be out in the morning.

Had a BB 7 yards in front of me @ 4:30 and he came in with the wind at his back and not skittish at all.... Youngins lol..... Later around the end of legal shooting light saw two up on the ridge above me coming nose too nose one with he wind one against it.... The bigger one won out and the smaller one turned and ran the way it came....

My buddy was behind me about 200 yards and he saw one of my targets dogging a little doe..... Hopefully he'll come in for a shot this week.... My buddy won't shoot it , to me it's a management buck that needs taken out..... The rest of he bucks just need time....
